Dawn is currently the Choral Director at Manzano High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She spent the last two years at Kent State University pursuing a Master of Music in Choral Conducting. During the second year of her studies, she was a choral graduate assistant and directed the University Women’s Chorus and taught Arranging. She earned my Bachelor degree in Choral Music Education at Bowling Green State University, graduating summa cum laude in 2007. From 2007 to 2011, Dawn was director of choirs at Perrysburg High School in Perrysburg, Ohio, where her ensembles consistently received excellent and superior ratings at OMEA Adjudicated Events in classes C through AA. She is also a busy freelance arranger, having arranged for numerous show choirs and a cappella groups throughout the Midwest. Dawn is an alumna of the nationally known a cappella group Eleventh Hour from Kettering Fairmont High School. In February 2013, she presented a session entitled “Young Director’s Session: Protecting Your Job” at the OMEA Professional Development Conference in Columbus, Ohio.
